Our primary focus is photography that will help a business enhance it's presence. This includes lifestyle images, personalized portraits, small product still-lifes and event coverage.

History

Geoff Hammond started his love of photography in high school and developed that love into a skill at Orange Coast College, California - "widely considered one of the finest photography and digital imaging programs in the United States" (www.orangecoastcollege.edu). There he learned from professors like John Upton, Arthur Taussig and other well-known photography professionals. While working at Cal's Camera he increased his knowledge of photo equipment, then went to work for Western Exposure photographing architectural and lifestyle imagery. During this time Geoff also started to design brochures and helped to market homes priced up to $70 Million, including the famous Pickfair estate.
During this period Hammondesign was started as a part-time business offering both photography and design services to individual clients. In 2000, Martina married Geoff and by default joined the business just still in its infancy. Hammondovi officially began with its new name and new fervor in London in 2004. In 2005 Hammondovi joined iStockphoto and widened its scope of photography. Along with architecture, we were photographing models and eventually arranging locations, makeup and wardrobe.
Becoming a part of the iStock community meant Geoff was also participating and eventually organizing photographer gatherings (called iStockalypses and Mini'lypses). In November 2007, Hammondovi moved to Leander, Texas near Austin. Now established in Texas we have planted our roots and will continue to grow.
In July 2009, Hammondovi lead a local photo walk as part of Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk. We look forward to more adventures in photography and hope you will be a part of them.
